Josh Ambassador

INTRODUCTION Kia ora my name is Josh and I'm 10 years old. I would like be an ambassador for 2016. My skills for being an ambassador would be honest and confident. A few weeks ago I was a Manaiakalani film festival presenter, so I am use to speaking in front of lots of people and I’ve had heaps of practice.I attended all the practices, learned all of my lines and came to school everyday

 LEARN CREATE SHARE One thing that I loved learning this year would be about an Antarctic food chain. A food chain starts with a consumer and then a predator. For example a fish gets eaten by a penguin and a seal eats a penguin. So the seal receives all the energy. So it's like a basic diagram of Antarctic food chain. I’ve made a food chain, you can see it here.


 Another thing that I enjoyed was writing poems. We wrote haiku poems, limerick poems and diamante poems. Limerick and haiku poems have syllables nouns adjectives verbs and a lot of other things.

We are learning about a food chain and diagrams. This food chain is about the penguin eats the fish then the seal eats the penguin. a predator is a animal that eats other animals and the seal is the predator at the moment.

Today we had a new activity about faction problems and I had to answer 3 ansers but my teacher and me. figured them out hope you enjoy. Walt: Solve harder fraction problems using my knowledge of basic multiplication, division and fractions facts

Butter, Butter, Butter

Have you ever made homemade butter with your class?

Today we made butter with Mrs Garden and. We got to taste it with bread it taste pretty normal. With butter you need cream salt and a jar.

All you need is salt cream and a jar we added cream into the jar and added a pinch of salt. and our class each had five shakes of the jar.

Miss Garden told us to get into threes. and she gave us a piece of bread and a lid with some butter on it and. The bread and butter tasted pretty normal with butter. Id rather make butter its easier.
