Museum Trip

Have you ever been to Auckland museum?

Well last week we went to the museum

with all year 5s. We got split into 5 groups I was in Mrs west's group.

At first we met in the first entry. Then sat down and locked are bags in a cage. Because we are not aloud to eat or drink

in the museum.

My favorite part was when I went to the minecraft room. It really felt like I was in the game. I didn't get much time but it was worth it.

WEATBIX OF TERROR!!!!

have you ever got weatbix with whipped cream all over your face. Well this morning we played a game and I call it weetbix of terror.

We used raw weetbix whipped cream and an apple. You need to put the whip cream on the weatbix and put it on any kind of plate. Then you have to have a buddy to control your arms and need six teams which have two in each. one person from each team has to eat the weetbix an apple and the other person had to control your arms.

When it was my turn I was the one who had to eat the food. I was nervous at first because I didn't even know if it was yum or not. But when Charles my buddy shoved the raw weetbix in my face the whipped cream was every where. It was disgusting to me I felt like I wanted to vomit it was very nasty. When I finished the weat bix I had the apple which had crumbs and whipped cream on it and it was all soggy. When I tasted it.

My favorite part was when I got revenge on Charles. I put whip cream on his face and I put the apple over his face.

I felt happy about the experience because it was funny it was bad but still funny.

Walt: Report factual information about a New Zealand Native Animal or Creature

Here are some facts about a native Kiwi. Which i'm writing about its diet description characteristics and its habbat.

Diet: Kiwis are an omnivore which means they eat herbs vegetables and insects. Like weta earthworms beetles spiders maggots and cockroaches. Omnivore are animals that eat plants and bugs

Characteristics: All Kiwi are flightless which means they can't fly at all. Kiwis can live up to 20 to 30 years. and all kiwis are endangered which means you can't keep them as pets. They  

Habbat: Kiwis live in many places like scrubs farmland and plantation forests. But they very much like wet places poodles and wetland.

I felt about happy about the experience.

My favorite part was writing about a kiwi because it was fun .

How Maui slowed the Sun.

Long long time a go the sun moved too fast across the sky people couldn't do their work. Maui made a plan to slow the sun down. He asked his brothers to help him. The brothers still weren't very happy but they helped Maui to cut the Harakeke. They said a Karakia to make the ropes strong. At last the ropes were ready so they set off at night so the sun did not no there plan. Maui new they were close because  the ground was dry. Soon they reach the great pit from where the sun would rise. they made a wall so the sun couldn't see them, Maui said not to throw the ropes yet. “Now” my brothers shouted  Maui attack said Maui the Maui smashed the sun in the face. The ropes were stuck on the sun, He was sad weak so the brothers and Maui let go of the magic ropes.

the sun went slowly and the people did their work.

Milking happens twice a day, Which takes up to 7 to 8 minutes a day to milk. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon. And you can not miss out all they will get sick and have infections.

Now days, milking machines do all the hard work,but in the olden days they used their hands to milk the cows. one cow gives 30 litres a day.

teaches did a play about all the emotions you feel like joy and sadness and disgust and fear and angry. It's like the new movie called Inside out Mrs Lavakula was joy and Mr Somerville was sassy and Mr Goodwin was Calm.

After that we said a big thanks to our teachers for all the hard work they putted it into.

at the end We welcomed three new teachers. One of the teacher's name was Mr Morgan and I don't the rest. But I know that they work in the office. My favorite part was when Mr Somerville was being so sassy. and what I hope for next time is that one of the teams do spy mission.

In the holidays charles came over my house and after that we went inside to play Mortal Kombat on xbox 360. And then we got bored so we played with my dog jubba simeon we played soccer it was fun

then it was getting late so me and charles went inside. And had dinner for dinner we had buns and chicken and mayo it was very yum. After we had treats and went to sleep.
